Day in Review:

Today started with a Do Now that asked students to share their knowledge about Andrew Jackson (if any) and to explain if they thought the move westward in the early 1800s was good or bad based on what they know. We then discussed their answers.

Students were then provided a worksheet on constructing evidence based arguments. This worksheet had five questions and asked students to constructed a written response using skills we covered previously in class. Students had time to work on these questions in class. Anything that was not finished during class was assigned as homework.
