Day in Review:
Today was started by defining the vocabulary words for the week. As always, these words will be the ones on the quiz this Friday. Following that we reviewed the definitions, and then reviewed the homework from last time. We also briefly discussed how this is the start of trimester three, and that it is another opportunity to put our best foot forward, and I encouraged students to end the year strong with trimester three.
We then began to discuss Athens and Sparta. Students were given a empty Venn diagram, and a list of ideas and concepts from ancient Greece. With a partner student look over the information on pages 183-189 in their textbook and identify each item to determine where it fits on the Venn diagram.
