The in class assignment was to read a short document about the Mesopotamian religion and beliefs, which were central to the lives of the people in this region. While reading in small groups (or as a class) students were to follow along using the Mesopotamian Religion Guided Reading sheet.]

Once completed students divided into smaller groups and subgroups to continue investigating the gods of this region.  Student determined which gods that they wanted to create trading cards (like Pokemon or baseball cards).  The rubric and instructions to the project were provided.  Students will receive time in class later this week to begin working on the assignment.
