11/8/16 – Election Day

Today we took a break from the American Revolution to discuss how elections work in the United States.  We looked at a sample ballot to see what a voter would see when they go into the voting booth.  We discussed the process of how a citizen votes, where they go, how the process works, and how results are determined. We also had an open discussion where students were able to ask questions, some example include how old do you have to be to vote, how do you register, and other questions about how elections work in the United States.
