- Describe how colonists reacted to these policies
Day in Review:
Today we looked at the British policies enacted after the French and Indian War. We specifically looked at the Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Townshend Acts, and the Intolerable Acts. We also watched a short video summarizing these policies and the colonial reactions to them.
Assignments and Resources:
Students use the book to research the Sugar, Stamp, Townshend, and Intolerable acts. Students then filled out the British Policies chart by describing what each of the acts did, and then how colonists reacted to them. This information is also available at http://www.ushistory.org.
